Phil’s practice includes representation of clients in all phases of commercial and residential real estate: sales, acquisitions, construction, development, lending and leasing, including advice on issues related to title, financing, zoning and environmental laws and regulations.
His recent projects include zoning variances, special permits and site plan review approval for sites in Woburn, Reading, Webster, Hudson, and Westwood, Massachusetts and Manchester, New Hampshire.
He enjoys a practice principally advising clients on issues of land use law, zoning and permitting, as well as real estate design and development matters.
Brian’s private sector work includes advising property developers and landowners on environmental issues and proceedings before municipal planning and zoning boards; conservation commissions; boards of assessors and the Appellate Tax Board.
Carey’s practice concentrates in the area of civil litigation, including insurance defense, business and commercial litigation, workers compensation law, personal injury, product liability, and divorce.
Carey has been practicing law for over 25 years, and was a partner for many years with Morrison Mahoney LLP, a nationally recognized regional trial firm of over 160 lawyers. Carey has tried over 50 jury cases in state and federal courts, in cases ranging from workplace accidents, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, closed head injuries, traumatic injuries, post-traumatic stress disorder, and death.
